It depends on the owner of the item. Some send their items and some might need renter to come and pick it up from their store. Otherwise, you can choose RentSmart delivery as an option. Learn more
We have 2 methods to get in touch with owners.
Product Enquiry: You have the option to enquire about the product; this is usually public conversation and relates to general information about the product. Questions that are relevant, would be released to the product page, which will allow other users to see the questions and answer.
Chat: Upon booking the item, you also have the option to chat with the owner in the email.

You can give the handover code to our delivery partner beforehand and he will pass it to the owner once he arrives to pick up the item. This way it will guarantee the item is handed over to the right person even they’re not meeting directly.
As a renter, when you provide identification info, it builds trust in the RentSmart Asia community. It also helps us keep RentSmart secure, safe from fraud, and protect owners and their products. Apart from that we would need your identification info for our insurance guidelines as well. Learn more
We are working on the possibility of building a native mobile app which users might find much easier to use. As for now, bear with us and do frequently check on your email from RentSmart when you’re doing your rental as it helps our side to keep track of what’s happening.
